CoF have formed their own label imprint, AbraCadaver, and the first release on this label will be a studio project called "Bitter Suites To Succubi". The new EP features 4 new tracks, plus 3 re-recordings of classic old tracks! It will feature Black Goddess II - Ebon Nemesis (a sequel to The Black Goddess Rises), as well as re-recordings of The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh and Summer Dying Fast. | The current Cradle of Filth concert tour of Europe is said to be going very well. Venues have been selling out fast, and in some cities they've had to move to larger venues due to their high demand. After the current European tour, CoF plan to do a one-off show (plus a Webcast) in New York in February. They will then tour Australian and Japan around April, followed by a proper US tour in May. They will be recording some new tracks to coincide with their US tour. I will post the dates here as they come to hand. |

| Alex Chandon and Pragmatic Pictures have just completed work on CoF's first video to be released from Midian. The video is of Her Ghost in the Fog. There is lots of interest in the new video after the great effort CoF put into the From the Cradle to Enslave video.
Due to be released on the Her Ghost in the Fog single is a track called Dance Macabre, which was a track recorded for the soon-to-be-released Cradle of Fear movie. |

The developers for the site, Renga Media, have retracted from the original site design, stating that it was 'only a beta'. They promise that "the brand-new, complete site will be up very soon". | ||

| CoF have now entered the studio to record Midian. It is due for release around Halloween time. The band members for the recording are as follows: Dani Filth (vocals) Paul Allender (guitar) Gian Pyres (guitar) Martin Powell (keyboards) Adrian Erlandsson (drums) Robin Graves (bass) They plan to release a single before the album, featuring German vocalist Diamanda Galas (Dani is said to be a great admirer of her work). The title for the new album was inspired by a place called Midian, which is mentioned in the Bible as a place where mosters resided. The album is a series of stories revolving around this theme. Following the releases of the album, CoF plan to tour Europe and then America in 2001. |

| Alex Chandon's next horror film, Cradle of Fear, will star the members of CoF as its main actors. Of the five short stories that make up the film, the first shows Dani arriving at a club in search of a vampire. The film is still planned to be for sale only over the Internet. Dani explains "This film is completely underground. Alex did not want to be annoyed by the censorship, this is why it will be only available for purchase via the site." |

| Alex Chandon, director of From the Cradle to Enslave, is working with CoF on their next video. It continues on from the FtCtE video to show what happens to the band next. Compared to FtCtE, it will be more surreal and gothic, and the story will be less linear. This time there will only be one (uncensored) version made. | ||

| Alex Chandon is working on a separate project with Dani. It is a 90 minute hardcore horror film called 'Cradle of Fear', consisting of five sick stories interwoven by Dani himself. Alex promises "It's going to be the darkest, hardest, and sexiest stuff I've ever made." The film starts shooting in April, with an August release planned. The film will only be available by mail order and over the Internet. More details about how to get the film will be posted soon. | ||
